Our automation & control services

INTEG delivers integrated industrial automation that improves plant performance, reliability and operational visibility — from concept to streamlined operations. Explore the five disciplines that make it happen.

01

PLC Systems

Programmable Logic Controllers are the deterministic heart of every automated plant. INTEG designs, programs and commissions robust PLC architectures across all major platforms — translating your process requirements into safe, reliable, real-time control logic that runs day in, day out.

Multi-platform programming (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider)
Control logic design, simulation & commissioning
Redundancy, failover & functional safety
Legacy controller migration & upgrades
A control layer engineered for uptime, safety and long-term maintainability.

02

SCADA Systems

Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition gives your team a single, real-time window into the entire operation. We build scalable SCADA platforms that visualise live process data, manage alarms and events, and put supervisory control at operators’ fingertips — on the plant floor or from anywhere.

Real-time process visualisation & control
Alarm, event & audit management
Historical data, trending & reporting
Distributed, redundant & remote architectures
Operators see more, react faster and run the plant with confidence.

03

HMI Development

The Human-Machine Interface is where your people meet the process. INTEG designs intuitive, standards-based operator screens that reduce cognitive load, surface the right information at the right moment, and turn complex plants into something teams can run with clarity.

High-performance HMI design
ISA-101 / ASM-aligned graphics & hierarchies
Intuitive operator workflows & navigation
Panel, touch & thin-client deployment
Clearer screens mean quicker decisions and fewer costly errors.

04

Batching Systems

Recipe-driven batching brings repeatable precision to every production run. We engineer ISA-88-aligned batch control that manages recipes, sequencing and material movements — delivering consistent product quality and complete traceability, batch after batch.

ISA-88 recipe & procedure management
Automated sequencing & phase control
Material, lot & genealogy tracking
Quality, reporting & compliance
Every batch is repeatable, auditable and right the first time.

05

Manufacturing Execution Systems

Manufacturing Execution Systems bridge the gap between the plant floor and the business. INTEG integrates MES that contextualises production data, tracks performance in real time, and turns raw signals into the operational insight that drives better decisions.

Production, downtime & OEE tracking
Data contextualisation & modelling
ERP / business-system integration
Real-time dashboards & performance reporting
From raw signals to decisions that move the numbers.

Everything You Need to Know About Industrial Automation

INTEG works across all major PLC platforms, including Siemens, Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) and Schneider Electric. Our engineers are experienced in multi-platform environments, meaning we can work with the hardware you already have in place — or recommend the right platform for your specific process requirements. We also support legacy controller migrations where older systems need to be modernised without disrupting production.

Yes. Modern SCADA systems can be configured for secure remote access, allowing engineers, managers and support teams to monitor live process data and respond to alarms from anywhere — whether that's another site, a control room or a mobile device. INTEG designs remote SCADA architectures with OT cybersecurity best practices built in, ensuring that remote access never comes at the cost of network integrity or operational safety.

An HMI (Human-Machine Interface) is the screen through which operators interact with and control an automated process. It displays live data, alarms, process states and control inputs in real time. Screen design matters because a poorly designed HMI increases cognitive load — operators have to work harder to find the information they need, which slows response times and increases the risk of errors. INTEG designs HMIs to ISA-101 and ASM standards, which means cleaner screens, logical navigation and interfaces that surface the right information at the right moment. The result is a plant that is faster to operate, easier to diagnose and safer to run.

An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system manages business-level operations — finance, procurement, inventory and planning. An MES sits between the plant floor and the business, capturing real-time production data and turning it into operational insight. Where an ERP tells you what was planned, an MES tells you what is actually happening on the floor right now — including production rates, downtime events, OEE, quality metrics and material consumption. INTEG implements MES solutions that integrate directly with your existing ERP, so your business systems and your plant floor are finally speaking the same language.

Every project is different, but INTEG follows a structured delivery process across five key phases:

  • Discovery & Scoping — We assess your current systems, define requirements and agree on the project scope, timeline and deliverables.
  • Design & Engineering — Control philosophy, system architecture, panel designs and software specifications are developed and reviewed with your team.
  • Development & Testing — PLC programming, SCADA configuration and HMI development are completed and validated through Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) before anything goes near your plant.
  • Installation & Commissioning — Our engineers install and commission the system on-site, working closely with your operations team to minimise disruption to production.
  • Handover & Support — We provide operator and engineering training, full documentation and ongoing support to ensure your team can run and maintain the system with confidence.
